Autonomous Pressure Testing Unit

The fully autonomous pressure testing unit is designed using wireless technology to completely remove the operator(s) from the hazards associated with pressure testing. The unit is self-contained requiring only 110 volt AC power, compressed air and a hydraulic pressure medium. The unit can be equipped with proximity sensors so the test area can be monitored and the test can be terminated should a person enter the test area during an active operation. The operator(s) can start, monitor, or terminate the unit(s) test sequence via an HMI (Human Machine Interface), such as a laptop computer, across a secure wireless network. The broadcast may be received in real time by the operator at the HMI and/or to a secure website or remote viewing application wherein the remote viewing application may be on any personal device such as a phone, tablet, laptop, etc. The unit will also record and store the test sequence for future verification or validation. During the test period, the pressure testing unit has the capability to forecast pass/fail test results in predicative mode. The unit is capable of generating reports for the pressure test operation along with calibration data for the pressure transducers. The tests may be confirmed, signed by the test operator with a PIV credential (Personal Identification Verification) or bio-metric reader via the HMI, and if required, by a witness who is present or remotely monitoring the test sequence via a secure website. Subsequent to customer or industry required signatures, the unit will then archive the report via an electronic media of the customer's specifications and have the ability to transmit the report to an electronic repository of the customer's specification.
